Single jewellery item
£95 + VAT
A same-day valuation appointment for one item of jewellery.
Additional jewellery items
£75 + VAT each
For each additional jewellery item assessed during the same appointment.

£125 + VAT
A same-day valuation appointment for one watch.

Protection after valuation
Documentation should lead to the right protection
A valuation establishes what an item is and its current replacement value. The next question is whether it is appropriately insured. Through our partnership with ZNG Cover, eligible clients can be introduced to specialist insurance designed for valuable jewellery and watches.
ZNG Cover is separate from Christopher Stoner Bespoke. Any insurance is optional and is arranged directly with ZNG Cover, subject to its eligibility requirements, quotation, policy terms and acceptance.
ZNG Cover is a trading name of Covertech Limited, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 976493. Insurance is provided by Chubb European Group SE.

Valuation questions
Will I still receive a valuation report?
Yes. Your valuation is presented through a detailed SmartReport, which you can access in ValuVault. It records the item, identifying information, photographs and valuation details in a digital-first format designed to be accessible and shareable.
What is the difference between SmartReport and ValuVault?
SmartReport is the detailed living record of the jewellery or watch. ValuVault is the secure place where you access and manage that record alongside relevant ownership documents.
Can the SmartReport be shared with an insurer?
The owner can share the SmartReport for relevant insurance conversations. It is designed to be insurer-ready, although individual insurers decide what information they require and whether they accept a valuation.
Is insurance included with the valuation?
No. Insurance is separate and optional. Through our partnership with ZNG Cover, eligible clients can be introduced to specialist jewellery and watch insurance, subject to ZNG Cover’s quotation, terms, eligibility and acceptance.
How much does a valuation cost?
A single jewellery item is £95 + VAT. Each additional jewellery item assessed during the same appointment is £75 + VAT. A watch valuation is £125 + VAT. If you have several items, contact Christopher before booking so the appropriate appointment time can be arranged.
Can I have both jewellery and watches valued?
Yes. Christopher offers valuations for jewellery and for watches at the Harrogate studio. Mention what you would like valued when you book, so the appointment can be arranged around the items you are bringing.
Where do valuations take place?
Valuations take place at the studio in Windsor House, Cornwall Road, Harrogate. The studio is open by appointment, so please book before you visit. Same-day appointments are available, and you can book by telephone, email or WhatsApp.
