The Leaf

I wanted to see what would happen if I stopped thinking about a pendant as a single gemstone surrounded by other gemstones.

So I started playing.

Marquise diamonds became leaves. Smaller diamonds became little shoots. Baguettes broke up all that brilliance with clean flashes of light.

And gradually this long, wonderfully fluid diamond pendant appeared.

I love that it’s not rigid. It should move. The diamonds should catch the light differently as the person wearing it moves.

It’s currently nothing more than one of my ideas. But give me a reason and I’ll happily make it real.
